1. How do I donate to The Collaboration Foundation?

To support the work of The Collaboration Foundation, you can visit www.the1secondfilm.com, and make a donation to become a producer. You can donate on-line or by mail. If you would like to be an Angel Donor to the Collaboration Foundation, please contact us.

2. Can donations be made tax-deductible?

Yes, donations of $500 or more can be made tax-deductible in the U.S. through our non-profit fiscal sponsor, the Filmmakers Alliance. To make a tax-deductible donation, you must pay by check. Visit www.the1secondfilm.com and register to become a producer, then send your check to our mailing address. Please make your check payable to the "Filmmakers Alliance" and put "The 1 Second Film" in the memo field. Note: This is only for tax-deductible donations above $500 US; non tax deductible donations can be made on-line or by mail, made payable directly to The 1 Second Film. Once your donation is received, your Producer Credit will appear on The 1 Second Film and we will send you a receipt for your records.

3. When will The 1 Second Film be completed?

Our current goal is to finish and premier The 1 Second Film by 2008. Due to the nature of the documentary, it is hard to set an exact date. After the production reaches a tipping point and raises finishing funds, post-production of the credit sequence and documentary will begin. Post production will take a minimum of 10 months and will begin upon completion of a cross-country interactive road trip. For the current production status, visit www.the1secondfilm.com.

4. When will the various sequels of the 5 Phase Plan begin?

Our current focus is completing The 1 Second Film which will provide the infrastructure for succesfully tackling the various sequels. Phase 1 is a proof of concept. The scope of this project is ambituous and the resources required are beyond our current means, which is why we are taking this one-second at a time. Development of the various sequels continues behind the scenes, a production time-table for Phase 2 will be announced as we approach the completion of The 1 Second Film.

5. How do I get Involved?

The best way to get involved now is to become a part of The 1 Second Film and to tell friends. Once a producer of The 1 Second Film, you can participate with the project via your producer profile. As our resources grow, we will expand the website to allowing more interaction. The collaborative community we build with The 1 Second Film will be integral to creating the various sequels.
