| Micro-collaboration
Our projects are built around a unique collaborative method we call 'micro-collaboration.'
The idea is to pool together many small contributions from a large network
of people, building a community while creating art. Micro-collaboration allows even the smallest contributions to make a difference.
Micro-collaborative Model Projects
The projects created during our 5 Phase Plan will serve as models for micro-collaboration on a global scale. Projects will use collaboration in every aspect of production seeking to build cultural bridges via the arts. The projects will be animated during collaborative participatory events,
financed by micro-donations, and technically supported by collaborative and open-source tools.
collaborative animation
Our films will be animated in an innovative way during large multi-disciplinary
events. Each frame of animation will be a large painting that has
its own director. The frame directors will engage members of the
audience to help complete his or her frame. The events will also
feature live music and performers while providing a platform to
address different social issues. As our 5 Phase Plan continues,
we will organize simultaneous 'one-second' events in different parts
of the world, with the goal of eventually producing a feature-length
micro-animated film (The 11,111 Second Film).
micro-financing
Our projects will be financed by many small donations, and will
allow anyone the ability to become a producer. Our producers will
receive Producer Profiles allowing them to contribute ideas, content,
and network with one another. Our micro-fundraising model also builds a collaborative
community, allowing diverse people to work together for a common goal.
